Where Culture Meets Business
THE NEED
Young Creatives (25–40) in NYC and NJ, many newly relocated for work or marriage, are seeking welcoming, values-aligned third spaces to connect with likeminded peers, build friendships, and feel rooted. At the same time, local women-led, immigrant-owned, and Muslim-owned restaurants, cafés, and lifestyle brands aspire to activate their communities in meaningful ways but often lack the resources, creative direction, or cultural fluency to achieve this effectively.
THE RESOLUTION
Marvie & Mahrukh was founded to bring design and community together in meaningful ways. We create experiences that transcend traditional events, turning restaurants, cafés, and cultural venues into spaces where people feel seen, connected, and inspired.

Rooted in storytelling and design-led production, we collaborate with local women-led and immigrant-owned businesses to help them become true community anchors. Every activation is crafted with the intention of building relationships, celebrate identity, and nurture connection that lasts beyond the event.

More than an events collective, Marvie & Mahrukh is a platform for belonging, creativity, and cultural collaboration. We exist to make connection not only beautiful, but enduring.

Who We Are
Marvie & Mahrukh is a boutique events and lifestyle collective founded as a creative experiment in community-building. What began as an intimate collaboration has grown into a platform for women-centered, culturally nuanced experiences that bridge food, art, and storytelling.
Our Vision
We believe gatherings are more than events; they are vessels of identity, memory, and connection. By weaving together design, narrative, and hospitality, we create spaces that feel intentional, elevated, and deeply personal.
